Well, I am finally over my cold. Woke up this morning feeling so much better. Yeah! That little ole' cold kicked my tail this weekend. The only thing I did was workout Friday and Saturday, but otherwise, I was in bed sleeping, something I think my body needed. I didn't do anything that I was going to do. I was supposed to head into town this weekend to run some errands, but I had to put that off till this coming weekend. Last week, my trainer kicked my butt and I also worked hard on my own. Walking every single day and working on the machines four days. After the difficult weigh in last week, I went in last night determined to have a loss. And boy, did I! I lost 6.8 pounds this week. My trainer and I talked about it last night and she says with the amount of working out that I am doing and stable intake of food that I am eating, my body is finally processing some of the fat. Yeah! Did you know that to lose a pound of weight, you have to burn 3500 calories or remove 500 calories of food from your diet a day (3500 for a week)? Something I learned this week. :)I love to eat so I don't think eating will ever be problem for me...just learning what to change in my diet is the key. AND I AM LOVING IT, ok except for when I am craving Mocha Java Chip Ice Cream...but, I am learning to change up recipes and make delicious food that is on program and tastes Yummy and makes me not yearn those Mocha Java chip Ice Cream Cones. (Ok, can you tell what I am craving.) This reminds me I need to remember to bring in my chinese food recipe to put on here for everyone. It is yummy and I love it! I have not been scrapping or stamping much for myself lately. I am still working on that baby book for my co-worker. It is consuming alot on my non existant free time. This Saturday, my friend Sarah and I are taking our friend Sunny on her birthday adventure. It should be fun and I can't wait. She likes when things are "squeal worthy" and I believe she will really enjoy this day! I will post our adventures next week. Since it is a surprise for her I don't want to ruin it because she may read this. Then it wouldn't be a surprise. :) Well, I am going to wrap this up for the day...until next time, Toodles!!!
