What A Long Week!

Wow, what a week this has been, and it is not even over! Last night was a killer at the gym. We are getting me ready to begin 5k Training. I want to run in two 5ks this fall and I need to start training for them. I am sure that I will be hating life for the first few weeks, but I have to do what I have to do to get ready. I think this will also shock my body which will help in the Weight loss department. This is a great way for to work toward something over than weight loss goals. We are constantly working on gym goals, but working toward a 5k race will be the ultimate. This weekend I have to go to Fleet Feet to have my feet fitted for running shoes. This is new for me because they put you on a treadmill and have you run so that they can see how your foot hits the ground, how you roll your feet and stuff like that...totally fascinates me. Then once that is done, they tell you what shoes would be best for me and then you try them on and do the test again and make sure they are comfortable. Then on Monday, my torture will begin. My main objective for all this was to find something I could do outside of the gym for those days that I can't make it there....especially on the days when they are closed.

Ok, on to the scrapbook pages. The first one is of my niece and my cousins daughter...they were born a few days apart and are the bestest of buddies. I loved this photo because it captures the fun in their faces that they have together. The cardstock is Bazzil, and the PP came in a kit that also included the stickers. When I can remember who they are put out by I will edit this. The 4 is a peice of chipboard and the quickutz revolution was used to cut out the "ever".

This second page is a page that I did for a class I taught at my LSS. It was all about using different circle tools and creating a page. I used several different pieces of paper. Two PP and three different bazzil CS. The title is Quickutz Venus and the photo corners are from Quickutz also. I love this layout because I think it captures my nephews excitement. The photo was taken at Disney World and what better place to smile.

I hope everyone has a great day and until next time...Toodles!

These are adorable! Love the paper choices on the first one and all those circles (I am a sucker for circles!) on the second!

Good luck on running! I have heard that store is awesome. BTW, I love your layout, but only the second one is coming through for me. Wish I could see the first.

These are absolutely darling, Meg! I can't wait to see them IRL! I will be watching your running progress- so very proud of you! I wonder if Fleet Feet will do that for kids. Mary Elizabeth has a very odd stride and Dan feels it may be do to the fact she wears flipflops too much...
