Another week is gone and I can't believe it! I spent this past weekend helping a friend of mine get ready for her move this weekend. I have to say that after spending six hours on Saturday and six hours on Sunday in her home, I appreciate my father instilling in me a sense of cleanliness and tideness in my home. Let me just say that my friend is the packrat of all packrats and has a hard time getting rid of ANYTHING. I spent all my time with her making her go through things and put stuff in a yard sale boxes because she is never going to use all the stuff she has. My rule is that if I haven't used it in over a few years than it gets tossed. There are a few exceptions to that rule because I live in a VERY small apartment and there are a few keepsakes that I don't want to part with, but for the most part, I try to get rid of as much as I can. I wish my friend would take that approach because she has more than she can accomodate and can use at one time...like 5 nutcrackers and three woks and three crockpots. She is a single woman who is moving back home to be near her mother who is getting up there in age and she will be living with her sister, so she is not going to have a need for alot of this stuff. I can understand keeping one of something, but not three or five...geesch. But I will admit that I have managed to get her to get rid of a bunch of stuff but she could still get rid of more...truely and she would never miss any of it. I have also managed to get a few things that I was in need of and now don't have to invest in...like lids for my tupperware that seem to disappear and a cart for my kitchen. (that could also be used in the scrapbook room if I needed.) Last night I went over for a short period of time to see if she got her homework done that I left her doing and well, I was surprised that she had made a dent in it. I really hope that she gets this done by Friday like she wanted because she is moving on Sunday and Friday and Saturday are events for her Sons wedding that is Saturday late afternoon. Well, I will be going over every evening to make sure this gets done...so wish me luck!

The layout I have included today is another layout from last summer. The photos were taken one afternoon while we are are the pool while in Florida. I used two different layouts from Page Maps and made them work as a 2 page layout. The cardstock is Bazzil and the PP is My Minds Eye either Wild Asperagus or Magnolia...not so sure. The larger font is Quickutz Grand Spicy Chicken and smaller font is Summertime. I love the page and how I was able to get eight photos on there and yet is doesn't look cluttered or busy.
Well, gotta run for today...but until next time...Toodles!
