I am still alive!!!

Well, another month or two has past since the last time I posted after getting back from Xmas Vacation. Since then, nothing much has happened. At the beginning of the month, I went on a Scrapbooking Retreat to Mentone, AL. I got alot done and had a great time. I roomed with my friend, Jenny Nesselrote and we scrap'd right across from each other. It was fun having someone there that you can bounce ideas off of and who can give you an honest opinion when you need one. It was nice to see all the people that I haven't seen in the last year and to meet some new friends. I have to say that the hightlight of the event was winning a HUGE basket full of disney scrapbooking things. It was one of the "A" list door prizes and I won it. What a coincidence! I can definitely put it to use. I can't wait to open it up and see all the goodies in it. I still have it sitting on my table in my scrap room waiting for the right time to dive into it and see what all is in it. I also won a door prize that was full of soccer things and it was perfect because at the time I was working on a soccer page of my niece. It really was a great weekend and let me tell you..the food was great! I hope to be able to post some photos from the weekend in the future.

I have included in this post a picture of my nehpew Keaton. This is a new photo that I was able to get from his blog. Yes, my nephew has a blog of his own and I love going on there to see what he has been up too. He is getting so big and I can't believe that at the end of May, he will be one year old. WOW! Well, this photo inspired a few scrapbook pages in my mind. I can't wait to get a hard copy of it and be able to "play" with it. I am thinking black and white photo with blues and blacks..that is my starting place..feel free to offer suggestions. :) I also have a going to be working with a few photos of him playing on pots and pans as drums...they were so cute and then there is one photo of him with his new tooth...I am thinking dinosaurs there since he looks like a "Snaggletooth"...LOL. Well, gotta run, but wanted to get this on here since I hadn't posted in a while.
