Just wanted to post a quick hello and let you all know I am still alive and kicking. Things have been so busy. I am trying to get some photos uploaded here to show you what I have been up too, but been to busy to do that...but hopefully by this weekend I will be able to. Things are going pretty good. Mugzy and Cricket have both given me a scare lately. Mugzy was in the hospital with a bladder issue and Cricket decided to have a seizure one night. Mugzys issue is because he is getting old and it is just something I am going to have to accept. Crickets issue came out of no where. She is my healthy dog. Never been to the vet for major issues, except little things here or there..but on July 31, she made up for all that when she went into a major seizure and freaked me out. I called the vet and since it was after hours, they walked me through some care for her so that if she came out of it and was ok, that I could wait till the AM to bring her in. That appeared to have worked because after about 45 minutes or so, she was back to normal except that she was very tired and they said that I should just let her rest...so I did. Let me tell you...it is not very cool to watch your dog have a seizure and feel so helpless. I felt like there was nothing I could do to make her better except to just be there to love on her when it was over. I will say that she is now acting like nothing ever happened, which is a good thing!
