Who's DA Boss?

I thought I would share this layout with you.  This is a redo layout. I did not take a picture of the before, but just let me tell you that it is 100% different.  The original was a 8 1/2 x 11 page, yellow, blue and white card stock.  The pictures had all rounded edges and the lettering was hand written.  Nothing else, no embellishments no nothing...just cardstock and a pen.  I so so shocked when I found the page and how not me it was.  I knew immediately that it was the prime candidate for a redo.

This redo started with a piece of bazzill cardstock, moss colored.  I used My Minds Eye Paper pattern paper, from a stash that I picked up at Michaels over the holidays for next to nothing and is titled all about boys.  The brads are Spare Parts and the ribbon is Making Memories I believe...will double checkt hat one.:)  The Lettering is Cricut font Simply Sweet.  I love how it turned out and it is so very me now.  The pictures were even cropped to get rid of the rounded edges.  Once I was done, I again remembered exactly when these photos were taken and added the date to the page.  I love when I run across photos from a long time ago and am able to reminisce and then turn them into a page for my book.  I don't have many pictures of my siblings from when we were younger, so when I find old photos of us, I tend to make sure they make my book.

These two particular photos were taken when were were celebrating Christmas together in Florida.  I was living in Port St. Lucie and my grandmother lived down the street in Jensen Beach and my father, sister and brother came down to spend time with us over the holiday break.  This was also the vacation that my sister got her dog Jensen...named for Jensen Beach where she got him.  In these photos, my sister and brother were playing around and I managed to capture it on camera.  My sister of course has the upperhand and no doubt that my "little" brother was letting her.  :)

I hope you all have a great week...until next time....Toodles.
