Wow, what a fun weekend. Friday, I had all my girlfriends over and we had a fun game night. We played Taboo and man I laughed like I had never laughed before. Renee with the Taboo buzzer...somehow just not right...LOL Saturday I went to Birmingham with my friend Sherry and she and had so much fun hitting Scrapbook Mania, Sir Stamps A Lot (got a few Just Rite Stamps Sets for 40% off), JoAnnes and Hobby Lobby. We then came home, relaxed and then went to the Vagina Monologs at JSU. It was fantastic and very well done. Then today, we spent the morning making my card for PageMaps March Newsletter and this page above (more to come in a minute) and then she left at around Noon. I just really enjoyed spending time with the girls and doing things fun.
The layout above is a picture of my puppy Piper when she was only 8 weeks old. The Cardstock is Bazzill, the Pattern Paper is Echo Park, the Letters are Thickers from American Crafts and the butterflies are some rub ons that I just had laying around. If you look closely, there is bling in the middle of the flowers in the paper. I really ended up liking how the layout came together. I wasn't sure where I was going with this when I started, knew what I was thinking, but for some reason what was in my head was not coming out via my hands. LOL.
Well, just 10 more days and I will be able to show you my card layout for Page Maps. I think it tuned out well. I was surprised, but very pleased with it.
