Wow, how time flies

I did not realize that I had not written on here in over six months. Geesch, I am not a very good blogger. LOL. I am back on it though. I got my first assignment from Becky Fleck for her pagemaps newsletter. I am going to be doing a 6x6 card. I am very excited about the challange. I will post it on March 1st, when the newsletter comes out. Until then I thought I would share a pix of my new puppy piper. She is such a love. I have enjoyed her since the day I picked her up at the shelter. She is such an important member of my family now. I can't imagine not having her. She is so smart. She is learning new commands left and right. She can sit, sit pretty, stand, conga, lie down, and stay. She is working on coming to her name. LOL...she also gives kisses when asked. I can't wait for her to finish her training and really be a well behaved puppy. I want to train her to be a therapy dog. I thinks he can so it...i was also considering working on skills training because she loves to play fetch and she loves to weave.   She has gotten much bigger, but not to big.  I will try to post a picture from when she was first brought home so you can see how much she has grown. 

Below is a layout I did at end of last year.  It is using some Sassafrass Paper that I got from a friend and I just love how it turned out.  I also was able to use some chipboard I had laying around.  I did use the banner Quickutz and the nesting Stars Quickutz to add just a little something extra.  I did ink the edges of some of the paper.  I think it added some depth to it. 

Well, it is time to hit the hay.  I can't believe that I am up this late.  Go Figure.  Got to get up for work in the AM and I am sure the girls will have me up at 5 am to go out.  Until Next time, Toodles!
